We are a cricket club based in Norwich and we are holding our first charity event in 2014.

We are aiming to play cricket for 12 hours non stop on Monday 26th May and will include all members of the club (including a junior game) and will be inviting other local clubs and anyone else that wishes to participate to join us.

We are raising money for 2 charities,  1 local and 1 national. The local charity is "Care for Clare".  This charity raises funds for the Clare School in Norwich, which is for pupils with physical disabilities and sensory impairments. Their current project is to raise the money to build a hydrotherapy pool on the campus. A number of the players at the club have a connection with the school.

The second charity is "Macmillan Cancer Support". For many people effected by cancer,  Macmillan nurses are a valued and trusted source of expert information, advice and support - free of charge. Over the last year a number of club members and their families have been effected by cancer and we felt this was another excellent charity to raise funds for.
