I am raising funds to support the activities of the NGO “Kraplynka” based in Kyiv in its effort to provide both early educational opportunities and psychological support for the pre-school and school age children from the displaced families who currently live in Kyiv. The activities of "Kraplynka" started in Mizhygirya at the Orphanage where refugee families with children live. Currently about 17 children are attending weekly lessons and are longing for more. Mothers are being actively engaged and everyone is happy to communicate in bilingual Russian-Ukrainian environment. Over the month of December we raised over $4000.

Today we are taking the project a step further – starting activities in Brovary, a small town near Kyiv, where there are at least 700 children from displaced families registered at the office for Social Assistance.

To support this growth we would like to continue fundraising campaign as well as apply for grants from other sources for supplementary activities, such as, for example, a summer camp for the kids.
