Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi! My name is Oliver Gatenby and I am 9 years old.

This all started when we were given a list of challenges from school and one of them was to raise some money for a charity. I decided, along with my Dad, to raise money for the Birthmark Support Group. This charity is close to me as I was born with a venous malformation on my face. They have helped me and my family deal with all aspects of living with a birthmark and they put you in touch with people who have similar conditions to mine. It's a good charity and I wanted to be able to give them something back in return for the help and support they have given me.

The cycle ride that I am doing is 101kM in one day. I'll be doing it my Dad and the route takes us from Low Worsall to Bedale and up into the Yorkshire Dales before returning home back to Worsall.
