We raise funds for XIAP Deficiency research to save young boys lives across the world.

Story

This facial mattress has been growing all the way together with my beloved Leicester City hitting one high after the next. When it is all done, no matter the outcome, it is time to let it go. Many people have been nagging me to shave it off.

Now is the time to put your money where your mouth is. 15th of May after the final match of the season in the Tin Hat in Hinckley, 3 winners will be drawn that can all have a go at removing my facial growings.

No open knives, chainsaws, machetes or swords are allowed. Just a clipper.

Be generous for a very good cause, people. I have seen the pain it has caused a good friend and that disease taking children has to be found out.

Thank you all.

About the charity

Our Brave Knight

We started this journey in September 2013, after our own Brave Knight was 36th in Europe to be diagnosed with XIAP Deficiency. Unfortunately he lost his battle in May 2014. So as you can see this is a very rare condition, it's a genetic condition that only effects boys. It stops the immune system from working properly, so a common cold can become a matter of life or death. As well as the condition, the treatment for it is also life threatening. We want to raise money to fund any research to stop the treatment also being life threatening.
