I have been given a really exciting opportunity to go out and teach healthcare workers in Lira, Uganda. I will be spending two weeks with a team of my colleagues from Poole Hospital, working in Lira Hospital and at the university, teaching doctors, nurses, students, midwives and any other healthcare professionals about acute medical care. 

I love teaching, and my job at Poole has given me a great deal of opportunities. I'm so pleased to be able to give something back and share my knowledge with others!
