Story
Thank you for visiting my page. As many of you know I'm a first year medic at UCL and I've tried to get involved with every aspect of university life that I can. The opportunity to do a sky dive after exams this summer was up for grabs, and as it is one of the things that has been on my bucket list since the beginning, I obviously jumped at the offer.
My challenge is now to try and raise £400 for an incredible charity. The Cure Parkinson's Trust was founded in 2005 by 4 people: Sir Richard Nichols, Air Vice Marshal Michael Dicken, Sir David Jones and Tom Isaacs. Their aim is to fund research into finding a cure for Parkinson's, a currently incurable disease. Co-founder Tom Isaacs was diagnosed with Parkinson's at just 27, highlighting how this disease can affect anyone at any point in their life, and this is why it is such a relevant and crucial charity to support. I am honoured to be jumping for this charity as my grandpa suffered from the disease before passing two years ago, and so this charity is one close to my family.
