Hi everyone, I've the privilege of being selected to volunteer with Friends of Africa this summer for 6 weeks. I will be based in an area called Bapong in South Africa and will work with a number of the surrounding rural parishes.

With this comes fundraising and I would be so grateful for your financial support in reaching my target of £3000. Donations big and small will be greatly appreciated and will make such a difference to the lives of the people and children FOA are involved with.

Myself and 8 others will be involved in projects that include teaching religion to 5-7 year olds, a confirmation class and teaching those with little/no literacy skills. We also will become involved with many different projects in each of the parishes we visit, painting, building and helping to make a difference little by little.
