Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Friends of the Rose Bowl support this astonishing youth centre in Canonbury, Islington and I’ve also been supporting the Rose Bowl for a few years now.

I work with young people quite a bit but I’ve never come across such an inspirational youth centre, where staff and users work together to create exciting and engaging activities for young people in one of the most deprived parts of London. Through play and education, music and drama, football and dance, the Rose Bowl helps young people to develop the social and personal skills they need to thrive in the 21st century.

It all costs though: £300 will pay for a term’s homework support for one young person, while £500 funds ten singing and songwriting workshops. So please give what you can – and I promise I’ll sweat it all out along the south coast!!

Do please take a look at the Friends of the Rose Bowl website to find out more: www.friendsoftherosebowl.org.uk or you can check out the Rose Bowl’s own site: www.rosebowlislington.org.uk

Thanks again
