Story

As some of you know I am a hardened  lighter evenings campaigner and road safety would be a major beneficiary! All major road safety studies have concluded that moving the UK time zone an hour ahead all year would have the most impact on reducing road deaths and injuries. This is one of RoSPA's current campaigns: http://www.rospa.com/campaigns-fundraising/current/lighter-evenings/

Aside from this, RoSPA have championed many other road safety improvements, such as compulsory wearing of seatbelts and educating young drivers. They also do an excellent job in highlighting hazards in the workplace and home, such as electric gates, blind chords and liquitabs.

So I am taking up the Happy Hour challenge this year, by continuing to live on 'summer time' after the clocks go back (from 25th - 31st October) -  http://happyhour.livepolicyprojects.com/. I have tried this previously and sure it can be challenging at times but fortunately my job allows me to do this which is a major plus!
