Story

Dear Friends,

Sadly Pauline died on 2nd August 2012 from bowel cancer but her memory lives on so strongly and positively.

After many months of expert care at London Bridge Hospital, Pauline spent the last 17 days of her life at St Christopher's Hospice in Sydenham. I believe she received the best possible care there and that every effort was made to make her more comfortable and accompany her and her family through that difficult time. St Christopher's operates predominantly through a system of private funding from donations and its care is provided at no cost to the patient.

I have chosen to fundraise for St Christopher's in recognition of its dedication to a fair, dignified and compassionate system of care for those men, women and children unfortunate enough to have to confront a terminal illness.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Sebastian

About the charity
