In September we have a team of 7 from PMC & friends who will be undertaking the Isle of Wight Challenge. This involves cycling to the Isle of Wight from our office in Abingdon, cycling around the Isle of Wight (which is surprisingly hilly!) and then cycling back to Abingdon! The cyclists, seasoned from previous PMC/Adoption UK bike challenges, are looking forward to the challenge ahead!

Then in October we have a team of 10 from PMC & friends who will be running the Oxford Half Marathon in aid of Adoption UK.

Our running team is made up of mainly experienced marathoners and half-marathoners, however, we do have a few first timers. So whilst some will be aiming for a personal best, some will just be aiming to finish!

The course is a nice, flat, 13.1-miles which take in many of Oxford’s famous sights.

Combined, these events make up the PMC autumn duathlon!

As always, PMC’s chosen charity is at the heart of why they are putting themselves through these challenges. Any donation – no matter what size, would be hugely appreciated. 

Adoption UK is a national charity run by and for adopters, providing self-help information, advice, support and training on all aspects of adoption and adoptive parenting. Through company donations and the fund raising efforts of our team, we have enabled Adoption UK to launch its own website and community forum. With your help, we hope to do even more.
