A group of intrepid adventurers made up of PRA Health Sciences staff members are taking on the famous 3 Peaks Challenge in September.

This is all in aid of the charity ICP support, who provide invaluable support for expectant mothers suffering from Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP). This is the most common liver condition specific to pregnancy. It is a complex condition, with multifactorial reasons behind its cause and effects, meaning that a standardised care pathway for women in an ICP pregnancy is hard to design and implement. This makes it challenging for health professionals to know what the best practice is for treating and managing the condition.
