Having spent two weeks at the Divine Onkar Mission Orphanage in Jharkhand two years ago, I was fortunate enough to experience first hand the importance of the charity’s work, and consequently, the value of each and every donation to the children there. It was nothing less than overwhelming to witness the growth the school has made in the past few years and the sheer amount of hard work and compassion involved in allowing it to thrive as it does. It surpassed any expectations I had.  I have never experienced a community where there is so much love and gratitude. The beauty of each child’s smile and inner strength is hard to capture in words, however I can honestly say there is no greater investment. This year I am going back and want to mark my 21st birthday with this fundraiser so please do whatever you can to help.
