In rural India, a woman's life is vital and yet very vulnerable. A third of world's poor live in India and it's the women who suffer the greatest disadvantages.

The money raised by this event is contributed towards enabling these women building their lives through education, training, health, and income generation projects, supported by AVI.

£32 pays for books & tuition fees for a girl for one year
£60 pays for setting up a village market stall
£75 pays for 3days training camp for organic farming
£137 pays for a health worker's salary for 3months
