Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sadly my Mum, Pamela died in June 2015, she lived with Dementia. Before her diagnosis we had given the disease little thought, only after ,did we start to understand how mental illness impacts on quality of life and well being.

Mum's time with the disease was relatively short, she was looked after by a team of caring professionals at Danygraig Care Home Porthcawl. People we admire for their capacity for love , support and generosity of spirit.

As family we didn't have time to understand the disease, but we always knew that quality of life and enjoyment are as important to dementia sufferers as anyone else. It is for this reason we have suggested fundraising for Playlist for Life.

Please support our cause, or any of the worthy Dementia or Alzheimer charities. Donations instead of flowers please.

We will remember mum always, her love and support has made the family what it is.  Thank you, lovely Mum, you are missed.
