We fund medical research to cure neurological disorders!

Story

As some of you may know my mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, at the age of 55, in the February this year.

It's a disease not many of us know much about, and usually associate with much older people. When we starting researching we came across a fabulous charity called Wobbly Williams, Bryn's story really touched us and more importantly made mum laugh, which is why we have chosen to fundraise for them and their sister charity Funding Neuro.

Bryn was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 36, he set up Wobbly Williams to provide information on the efforts of the Wobbly Williams team to raise awareness of the condition, and funds for research into the causes, treatment and cure of Parkinson's Disease and other neurological disorders. Initially Funding Neuro focused on
reliable methods on delivering drugs and therapeutic devices across the blood brain barrier to where they will do most good. They are already trailing a drug to treat Parkinson's and this year will be also focusing on the delivery of chemotherapy to children with brain tumours.

And we want to help!

So on Friday 6th March 2015 we are having a party…and for everyone that knows us its what we do best so why not raise some money at the same time!! As much as we would love to have all our friends and family there...being our first event we have chosen a small venue, all going well we would love to make it a yearly party!  Anything you can give will be gratefully appreciated, every penny really does count!

Love always the Tennent family x
