As you may know, I am passionate about peace and education for peace in particular.  This walk marks the 70 anniversary of the first Pax Christi pilgrimage of peace to Vezelay, France following the horrors of the First and Second World Wars.  International encounter and cooperation for peace has always been a feature of the work. 70 years on and we still long for peace.  

Let's invest in education for peace at every level, the school, the church, the community and bring our vision of peace a little closer. Violence is not inevitable.  Nonviolence is the norm!
