In April 2010, my friends and I suffered a great loss when Blaine Thomas passed away due to a brain aneurysm. Ever since then my friends and I have attempted to raise as much cash as possible for Headway, having seen the fantastic work which they carry out for sufferers of brain injuries and also for the families of those which are affected. Having completed charity football matches, raffles and auctions for the charity I am now abstaining from alcohol for the month of January. I have calculated that I usually drink around 368 units a month of booze so this could be a challenge but it is one well worth suceeding in, in order to support this fabalous charity.
