Story
On Sunday 24th April 2016 I will be running in my 18th consecutive London Marathon dressed as a 7ft tall dog to raise money for a charity called Support Dogs.
Support Dogs is a unique UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with epilepsy, physical disabilities and families with children with autism by training dogs to act as efficient and safe assistants. The charity specialises in training dogs for seizure alert work to warn epilepsy sufferers of an imminent seizure, allowing them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives. Many of the dogs used by the charity are rescue dogs, therefore giving the dogs a chance for a much better life!
As many of you are aware my brother suffers from epilepsy and had a dog called Aura that helped improve his quality of life immensely.
I would be very grateful if you could dig deep into your pockets and sponsor me for this great cause, giving many more people like my brother a better quality of life. No matter how small the donation, every little bit really does help!
Thank you very much for your kind support.
Best wishes,
Patrick
