Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you reading this will know i lost my sister Caron nearly 3 years ago after a brave battle against cancer. This has prompted me after a friend also lost his wife Tracey Thomas-Patterson through cancer so me and 5 other middle aged overweight men have decided in our wisdom it would be a good idea to compete in the C2C challenge from Whitehaven to Sunderland (approximately 160 miles) over some of the lake districts toughest climbs. We have set up a facebook page which will diary our training and shenanigans leading up to and during the challenge Coast To Coast Fight Against Cancer. As we all know cancer is a cruel life changing disease for so many people have battled and been effected, most of us will have known and loved somebody that has suffered and battled again cancer.

We are specifically aiming our effort for the Amethyst Ward, Princess Diana Hospital.
