My 15-year-old son Louis and I have decided to embark on a charity challenge in our local area on Sunday 23rd October. This will comprise of a half marathon on a very hilly circuit around Elstree and Borehamwood immediately followed by a 20+ mile bike ride taking in many of the Hertfordshire hills (in Hadley Wood, Brookmans Park and Potters Bar before returning to Elstree).

We are raising money for a truly wonderful cause  - Chai Cancer Care. They provide comprehensive, professional and expert services for cancer patients, their families and friends.
