Event: Plymouth Half Marathon 2016, on 17 April 2017
We rescue and rehome animals to give them a better life

Story

On April 17th I will be running my second half marathon with two goals in mind. The first of my goals is to beat my Personal Best from last year, and my second goal is to, like last year, to raise money for animal welfare charities. My charity last year was Cruelty Free International, for whom I raised £315.

This year I have decided to try and keep any money raised local to me. I recently made the choice to volunteer at Margaret Green Animal Rescue, a registered charity just outside of Tavistock on the Wingletang Site, and thought the upcoming race would be the perfect opportunity to help raise money to help assist in the wonderful work that is done there.

The centre gives love and shelter to these animals who have often had their whole world turned upside down for reasons they can never comprehend.

If you can help it would be very much appreciated and go a long way in helping find these animals forever homes

If all you can give is a pound, please give as opposed to not.

I will personally match and then double the most generous donation

Thank you very much for your time and hopefully your kindness

Kind Regards

Paul x
