Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
I set the charity up as I was at a point in my life where I was heading down a road which saw me drinking and smoking to much, I realised if I didn't change them there was a strong possibility I may not be around to see my 3 beautiful girls grow up.To help me stay motivated and focused I decided to enter the Hastings Half Marathon, that was the easy part! I now need help with my training, I had joined gyms previously but got bored very quickly, this time I thought I would raise money for a charity (But which one?).The decision was made very easy when I realised how lucky my wife and I ate by having 3 healthy daughters, I also did not want to pay wages and more importantly keep the funds local, after looking around and not finding a cause I decided to set up my own, after a conversation with a friend Charity for Kids was born.Since 2011 Charity for Kids has gone from strength to strength, to date we have supported over 120 local families,! My aim in the next 3 years is to set up a much needed local Respite Facility. Please see below a list of fundraising events I have completed along with new challenges a head.Thank you for your support to date!
