Enabling Asher
Asher was born 10 week early with 3 holes in his heart. He had multiple operations to correct this and bravely fought back to good health. However at 8 months old Asher was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy.
Cerebral palsy (CP) is a general term describing conditions that cause movement problems. Spastic cerebral palsy is where the muscles are stiff and rigid in one or more limbs in Ashers case quadriplegic means that all four limbs are affected. The underlying problem is damage to, or faulty development of part of the brain, In some cases there are also associated problems such as learning difficulties. we would love to provide him with everything that he needs but unfortunately these specialised treatments and equipment are very costly and we can only begin to give him what he deserves with the generous help of others.
