This year I am pleased to be raising funds for the Maundy Relief Charity, the chosen charity of Maisie, this year's Rose Queen at St.Paul's church in Accrington.

Maundy Relief plays a very valuable role in the local community by supporting individuals and families who desperately need support.
This support is given in a variety of ways including:

• A Food Bank
• Furniture and household goods
• Counselling
• Legal advice
• Clothing
• Listening and befriending
• Housing advice

All the money raised will be used to provide practical support to vulnerable families in setting  up their own homes with by providing pots, pans,furniture and other household goods.

This will be my 16^th and final Great North Run and I’ll be looking to give Mo Farah and all those other Olympic heroes the race of their lives.
