Story
20 years ago, we went to Cambodia for a holiday ...... and ended up building a hospital for landmine survivors.
We've just been back and were amazed to see the Cambodia Trust Prosthetic Hospital has helped local people by:
- making & providing over 10,000 prosthetic legs & devices- employing 90 local staff and trained 35 students
- created a hospital that is all run by Cambodians
After 20 years, the hospital ‘needs a bit of work done’, as the ladies of New York say.
We want to help the hospital get the maintenance that often slip to the bottom of priority list. The hospital has extended with new wards and the roof has been replaced. Now it would be great if the doctors and patients can keep cool with better ventilation, as they build new arms & legs, and the patients practice their first steps.
So we are donating to the renovations, and invite you all to please dig deep and give to the Trust today.
Many thanks Paul & Caroline
