Story
I will be completing four mud-runner events over the next 12 months to raise money in aid of Hereford Special Care Baby Unit in memory of our beautiful angel Mia Jessie Colebatch.
Mud Runner is a series of 3 challenging cross country races held at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire. This includes a cross country, a duathlon and a cross country obstacle course.
On the 28th and 29th June 2014 I will complete Mud-runner Oblivion, followed by Mud-runner Classic in October then Mud-runner Ice Breaker in February 2015.
Our Story;
Mia was born at 35weeks by emergency c-section on the 23rd December 2013 at 12:06am weighing a tiny 4lb 5oz. To us she was our perfect little girl but Mia was extremely poorly and unbeknown to us had been for quite some time. She was transferred into the special care baby unit in Hereford as soon as she was born where the amazing staff worked tirelessly to care for our precious little girl but at around 6.30am, while lay in her mummy's arms, she grew her angel wings and went to sleep with the most precious angels forever. We will never be able to thank the doctors, nurses, specialists and midwives enough for all they did for Mia. She was a little fighter and they were right beside her fighting with her. They not only cared for our little girl but showed a great deal of support, help and compassion to myself and Paul as well as our family. That support continued even after we left the hospital. Truely amazing people! (From Mia's Mummy, Daddy and big Sister Lily)
We are hoping along the way we can rope in various family member to complete some of the events with me.
