Story
On October 15th 2016, Lisa Ashes and Crista Hazell will be travelling to the children's SOS village in Ghana. This is part of the work provided by WWEP to improve education for those most in need. Lisa and Crista will be working across 5 schools to support teachers and leaders in providing a high quality education to children who may otherwise have nothing.
If we can raise £2000, we will be able to supply them with a container of school furniture that could create a learning space for 300+ children. Realising that over one million orphaned children in Ghana are in need of an education to get themselves out of poverty, this is only scratching the surface of what is needed. If you can do something then you should... so we are!
What Can You Do?
Getting #Naked4Ghana is easy! There are three options.
1. FOR TEACHERS: This day has already happened but that does not stop you trying it out. Check out the #nakedteachingday for blogs, pics and ideas to help you empathise with teachers who have nothing.
A day of teaching and learning stripped bare on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 30th. This will be an online sharing day that all schools can get involved in. You can help us raise awareness for the cause.
2. FOR EVERYONE
Sponsor a friend or relative to strip themselves bare by removing something precious for just one day. Let us know what they did and send us their sponsor money via this page. #Naked4Ghana
3. FOR ANYONE
Just donate anything you can to help our cause via this page.
Thank you in advance
Crista and Lisa
A special thank you to Vision for Education who have already pledged their support of £500 to get us started!!
