Story

Dear Colleagues and Friends

You'll be pleased to know that I have been nominated for the Ice Bucket Challenge.

I won’t be doing it in the required timescale so I’ve paid my £10 donation which I understand is my penalty for this failure.

Part of my reason for declining is that I figure there are a number of CrossReach employees and supporters of CrossReach who would pay good money to see the CEO get an uncomfortable soaking.

I am, therefore, proposing that if I get donations and pledges for a minimum of £300 for CrossReach I will “do the deed”. This will be a “grand finale” to the Social Care Council meeting on 17th September 2014 in the grounds of Charis House.

Please donate to my page and help us to support many vulnerable groups throughout Scotland.

If you don’t know much about the fantastic services that CrossReach provides then visit www.crossreach.org.uk and I guarantee you’ll want to give.

This is a one off and I will not be nominating others for the challenge.  So, as a mark of your appreciation that I am not nominating YOU please donate!

I will post the challenge on Facebook and twitter for you to see so you’ll get satisfaction from your donation if you can’t be there in person.

Thanks so much.
