As some of you will be aware I endeavoured to complete my first marathon in 2011 (London) only to collapse at mile 22 when my body decided to shut down. Despite this experience I had unfinished business and completed the Yorkshire marathon last October. The marathon bug has officially got me!

I've decided to up the ante this year and complete two marathons, Brighton (April 2016) and Yorkshire (October 2016). I'd like to take this opportunity to raise money for my local East Grinstead charity, Jigsaw (South East), because of their fantastic work with bereaved children and young people in the region. They also partner with Macmillan for those affected by cancer.
