The plight of many asylum seekers in the UK is heart breaking. The media and much of the population seem unable to empathise with the pain and tragedy which so many endure and the poverty and difficulty that they experience in our country. The Haslar Visitors group works with the Red Cross in Portsmouth to offer a twice weekly drop in which offer support, advice and food.
