Story
Joyce and Phil COMPLETED the London 2 Brighton cycle ride AGAIN this year in aid of MLD. We first did it in 2012 to "celebrate" our 60th birthdays and raised over £1,000 thanks to our generous family and friends. Please do what you can to help us beat that target this year so we can help fund the valuable work of the MLD Support organisation -- and encourage us to keep fit!
AS AN ACT OF PURE SHOW-BOATING AND DETERMINATION TO PROVE FITNESS PHIL CYCLED ALL THE WAY UP DITCHLING BEACON -- WHAT A HERO! SO PLEASE NOW DONATE!!
At our care home, we look after a very special gentleman who unfortunately suffered a very rare disease called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD) while he was at university. He survived with bone marrow transplants but has been left with a form of dementia, learning disabilities and some physical problems.
MLD Support Association UK is a Registered Charity set up to bring support and hope to families and sufferers. We are doing a 60 mile cycle ride from london to Brighton to raise money and awareness for this cause so please donate all you can!
