Story
I’m entering the Doone Run for the seventh time on 16 October 2016. The race is billed as “undeniably one of the toughest 10 mile races in the UK” but one of the most stunningly scenic courses you will find. The race is part road, part trail, part footpath that covers coastal paths, wooded riverside banks and fell side slopes, which includes over 200ft of climbing.
I’m supporting Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) who are an environmental charity protecting the UK’s oceans, waves and beaches for all to enjoy safely and sustainably, via community action, campaigning, volunteering, conservation, education and scientific research.
