As my friends that personally know me I am a long haired hippy, What some of them know is that I have been growing my hair for over 7 years, I had it cut once last year when I thought I was going to my brothers funeral, I didn't but that is another story and has nothing to do with this.

I recently met a great bunch of people that drive all over the country saving animals. It is a charity called Last Chance Hotel, as the animals they save are going to be put down.

I have started fostering for them as I had thought about getting a dog as I knew the companionship, love and long walks would do my depression the world of good, but would like to fail, it isn't as bad as it sounds though as the dog gets a forever home, in the future when things are a little more settled for me I might start fostering smaller dogs for them (haven't told them that yet), but now I have a German Shepard (Alsatian) crossed with a Burmese Mountain Dog who is 9 months old, and this is the reason I want to fail at fostering at this time, that aside is the reason for me making this message.

I am thinking about cutting my hair off, shaved right to the scalp, as in bald to raise money for the charity, it is a struggling charity with people who work their asses off like you during the day and then give up most of their free time to rescue and look after these animals. For me to do it, and I don't mean this selfishly, I would have to raise at least £1,500 and would like to ask everyone I know if they would donate money toward raising this goal.
