Story
Pip made friends all over the world - and kept them! She was two years ahead of her contemporaries at school where she was Head Girl. She had multiple careers - Bilingual Secretary for Western European Union, PR Director for the World Girl Guide / Girl Scout Movement, Foreign Rights Manager for the largest publisher of childrens' books in the world and an independent Foreign Rights Agent. Politically she was a Council Member of the London Borough of Camden and an outstanding Chairman of its Race Relations Committee. She was the mother of three lovely daughters. Her crowning achievement was as Lady Mayoress of Westminster for which her Majesty awarded her the MBE for her work for other physically disabled people. She entertained many foreign Ambassadors to the Court of St James thus helping international relations. She achieved all this despite fighting MS for 44 years and being confined to a wheelchair for much of her last twenty years. She spoke five languages and her French was near perfect. She succeeded in all she did. Above all she loved people and they responded. ~ Ronnie
