I've set myself the challenge of running the Cardiff Half Marathon in memory of my grandfather and in order to raise funds for a charity very close to our hearts - Shipston Home Nursing. I've always hated running - the 800m at school was almost my worst nightmare so this is quite a big challenge for me to take on.

Shipston Home Nursing is a fantastic charity providing hospice care at home. They have a wonderful team of professional nurses who provided 24/7 nursing care and support for our family in my grandfathers final few weeks, allowing him to stay at home surrounded by his family but still receiving all the medical care possible. They rely entirely on charitable donations to be able to provide this service so I would really like to be able to give them something back. Any donations you could spare would be very greatly received!
