Story
Polycom is delighted to host its annual Golf Day on Thursday 9th June 2016 to raise money for Right To Play, a fantastic charity committed to helping children affected by poverty, disease and war through the simple concept of sport and play.
In most cases children simply do not have the opportunity to play but the work of the charity is so much more than providing this basic right to children. Sport and play helps attract children to attend and stay in school. It helps children learn better and leads to improved performance at school. Play helps children learn about disease and understand how to prevent common killers such as malaria, diarrhoea and HIV/AIDS.
Here is a great little video that shows how it all works:

Last year the Polycom Golf Day raised £4,440 thanks to our friends, associates and colleagues. That's enough to enable 148 children to take part in Right To Play programmes for one whole year. This year we want to top that total and help even more children. Please do give what you can to this great cause:
- £30 provides educational sport and play opportunities for a child for a whole year.
- £50 could save the lives of 10 children, teaching them how to protect themselves from malaria, using sport and play.
- £120 trains a local volunteer to become a Right To Play Coach.
As well as playing a full round of golf on the stunning St George's Hill course, guests will be welcomed to the clubhouse for dinner and charity auction.
On top of being a fantastic fundraising occasion, the Golf Day is also a great networking opportunity and we really hope you’ll be able to attend.
Thank you,
Paul Harris and the Polycom team
