Pontypridd Division Fundraising Appeal


St John Pontypridd Division plays a vital role in the community. Every day, our volunteers help keep the people of Pontypridd and the surrounding community safe.
As Wales’s leading first aid charity, we provide emergency first aid, deliver medical cover at events and train people of all ages in vital first aid skills so they can make a difference in times of need.
St John Cymru Wales does not receive any core government funding, so we depend on charitable donations to enable us to save lives across Wales.
Why we need support
Pontypridd Division currently has 80 members aged between 5 and 76 years. We currently operate from two small rooms in the Pontypridd Museum, but due to growing numbers, unfortunately, there is no longer sufficient space to meet the needs of our youth and adult members. We also need continued funding to support and provide vital equipment to deliver our work in the community.
This would not be possible without the fantastic support from the public and rely on charitable donations to carry out our vital work and help save lives.
That’s why we’re asking you to consider supporting our fundraising appeal by making a contribution towards helping us to fund:
• A new permanent home for St John in Pontypridd
• Essential resources to support our adult and youth volunteers
• Vital Equipment to provide emergency support in the community
