About the charity

Much of RAD’s work is with Deaf people who use British Sign Language. We also work with people with all forms of deafness, including those who are hard of hearing, deafened, or deafblind. RAD enables Deaf people to have equal access to the same opportunities as hearing people. We provide interpreting services and social care. We also provide advocacy, employment and legal services, and support Deaf people from black and minority ethnic communities. We also support children, youth and families and the Deaf community as a whole by working with Deaf clubs. Most of RAD’s work is in London, the East of England and the South East.
