Our daughter Mikayla was diagnosed with a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (brain stem tumour) at just 4 years old. There is no cure for this type of tumour, all the treatment my daughter could receive was palliative radiotherapy, in the hope this would relieve the symptoms and give us precious time to spend with Mikayla creating memories. We had six treasured months with Mikayla before she died peacefully at Milton children's hospice.

The children's hospice in Milton made the hardest journey we have ever had to go through that little bit easier. The care we received as a family was excellent. It is for this reason we want to try and give something back.
