Story
Sadly on 22 July 2016 our dear colleague Harry Mabaso died suddenly. The Project Services team at PRP, joined by former colleagues of Harry, have decided participate in a sponsored walk on 24 September 2016 in memory of Harry. The walk will raise money for MAHECAS, a Malawi charity providing much needed healthcare support for Harry's homeland. Further details about MAHECAS and their work can be found on their
website - www.mahecas.org
During his life Harry was constantly raising money for MAHECAS and for many years served in a voluntary capacity as their General Secretary. Although Harry was always modest and humble about his work with MAHECAS, the fact that the Malawi High Commissioner to the UK personally attended Harry's funeral and reception shows the significance of Harry's charity work.
PRP are making a corporate donation to MAHECAS in memory of Harry. We, as his colleagues and friends, want to bolster that donation by raising more money through our individual efforts. We are therefore asking all our friends, family and colleagues to give generously to support this worthwhile charity and help MAHECAS make a difference to people less well off in Malawi.
The walk on 24 September 2016 will be held over a number of distances to suit different abilities. We will be joined by Harry's wife and two daughters on the walk and hope to make it a celebration of Harry's life. If you would like further details or would like to come and support us in person please feel free to contact either Graham Green on g.green@prp-co.uk
or Philip Pamment on p.pamment@prp-co.uk
Please help us make a significant contribution to the important work carried out by MAHECAS by giving generously.
