Accuro, Supporting People with a Disability
Accuro is a registered charity who offer support to people of all ages with a disability and provide short breaks for their families and carers.
This charity is one that is particularly close to my heart as my own Stepson Jacob is one of the children who benefits massively from the work of Accuro.
Jacob is 11 and suffers severe Autism amongst other disabilities. He is a loving boy who asks for very little - his favourite thing is an empty plastic bottle and his swing. At an early age, Jacob could talk fluently but as his Autism developed his speech failed. Jacob is also blind and has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy having suffered many seizures.
Jacob attends Accuro Saturday Play Club and loves it. This gives him another chance to interact with other children of all different abilities. The staff at Saturday Club are amazing. Many Saturdays during the summer, they arrange trips for the children to enjoy. The staff work so hard, giving their own time, not just to the children but also to raise money for the charity to keep the Play Club open and running.
This is such a worthwhile Charity, they need our help by way of donations to continue to fund the club. These are Indigo Children and the staff are true Earth Angels. I am giving my time to help raise money - will you help me to help them by donating? In return for your donation, I will send you a Reading. My aim is to complete 100 Readings between now and 13th July 2014 for this Charity. Every donation counts no matter how large or small.
Thank you, Blessings, Love and Light to you all!
