Story
Launchpad is a charity that helps some of Reading’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged people to turn their lives around and fulfil their potential. The charity originated as a soup kitchen 35 years ago and were known as Reading Single Homeless Project until 2011. Today, it is called Launchpad Reading.
Inspired by the annual 'Big sleep out' held at Queen Anne's on the 19th August, the Queen Anne's boarding community are gathering their boxes and giving up a night in their own bed to raise awareness for the Launchpad charity. Following an evening of entertainment the Queen Anne's girls will build their shelter for the night and spend 12 hours sleeping outside.
Please sponsor your daughters, sisters, nieces and friends that are taking part in this exciting event and help us raise awareness for the great work Launchpad do in Reading.
