<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation was set up in October 2010 in the memory of Lauren Currie who died from Vasculitis and specifically the rare variant, Wegener&rsquo;s Granulomatosis. Lauren was only 15 and highlighted that Vasculitis can strike at any age, gender or race. Wegener&rsquo;s Granulomatosis affects 1 in 30,000 people, with 90% of patients at risk if left undiagnosed within two years. Not only is the disease rare, it has no known cause and currently no preventative medication &ndash; only treatment to suppress the immune system and obtain a state of remission in some patients.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
