I recently celebrated my 50th birthday...wow where did those years go?!

I really want to mark this 50th milestone by doing something for God and also for others. I have a vision of installing a spring of water, flowing as a perpetual fountain, in the garden of the LHT project where I work. Hopefully this will be an inspiration and blessing to the men whom God has entrusted me to help and serve over the last five years.

The Spring will have a bench and an engraved stone placed by it quoting John 7:37 when Jesus said, "If anyone is thirsty let them come to me and drink..." It is also hoped that the spring and the 'reflection and refreshing'  bench will be the start of a 'Peace Garden' that the residents can build on as part of their personal journeys to wellbeing.

To install the spring will cost money which my local LHT project doesn't have. However, I have good health and am going to do a 50km sponsored walk for Langley House Trust on Sunday 3rd July: Gloucester to Sharpness and back!
