Story

I’m 8 weeks into my training schedule and so far it’s taken a total lifestyle overhaul! Just fitting in the training has been a challenge in itself and has called for significant social sacrifices! Choosing a run over meeting friends for dinner or drinks doesn’t come naturally to a Prescott!

But.... so far, so good.  I'm enjoying it! Of course, its knackering, my feet hurt and the washing is endless, but I'm getting better.  I'm lucky enough to have lots of people around me to keep me motivated.  A 15miler on the South Downs with Will was my toughest run yet and my Birthday was a bit different this year too; Tom planned a cheeky 13miler around a spa break in the New Forest!

The next few months are going to test my will power! Although I’ve made it past the 18 Mile mark, 26.2 Miles still seems such a long way off and your support will go a really long way in keeping my spirits up!

Please sponsor me!

I’m running for Headway Surrey, in support of an ex colleague and friend whose brother fell down a marble staircase.  He broke his spine and suffered a hugely traumatic head injury.  Despite her family being told to prepare for the worst, against all odds her brother is now recovering well. Watching what she went through was a real eye opener and I’m hoping to raise lots of money to help support other families going through similar experiences.

Thanks in advance for all your support!
