My name is Rachael Hagland, I am 34 years old, a wife, mother to three gorgeous children and apparently completely crazy. 

I work as an advocate for POhWER advocacy but am currently on secondment at Headway Hertfordshire. I have been with Headway Hertfordshire since May 2015 and cannot praise this lovely group of people more highly for the work they do. With less than 10 employed staff, Headway Hertfordshire are heavily reliant on volunteers and as such important promotional work can often be forgotten resulting in a lack of awareness of this amazing charity.

Therefore, despite being absolutely terrified of heights, I have agreed to participate in Headway's tandem parachute jump event - that is how much I believe in this charity. Only a fraction of people affected by brain injury are getting the support they need simply because they just are not aware of what help is available to them. I hope to raise awareness and support for these people and therefore ask, not only for your generous donations (though this is highly important so please do), but also that you help us get the word out there so we can reach and provide support for more people.
