Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page & for supporting us as we mark the 10th anniversary of Julie who was brutally murdered at the hands of 2 evil brothers & raise much needed funds for Victim Support.

OUR STORY.......

Growing up as one of four daughters with a single parent had its challenges but we had each other and that was the most important thing.

Easter Monday, 21st April 2003 would turn out to be a date that we will never forget as long as we live.

At the age of 30, our sister Julie Anne Parle was brutally murdered at the hands of her ex-partner and his brother.

Leading up to this point they had made her life hell, setting fire to her home and the children having to move to their grandparents for their own safety. They turned Julie from the fun loving mother of two that we knew and loved into

a scared and vulnerable shell. They destroyed her life, and until the court hearing, we didn’t realise just how much she had suffered.

They left us without a sister, our mother without a daughter and her two children ( who were 3 & 10 years old at the time) without a mother.

They were not sorry for their crime and even laughed and goaded us throughout the court hearing but they were found guilty of murder and are currently serving a lengthy prison sentence.

This year it is the 10th anniversary, so to remember Julie and in aid of VICTIM SUPPORT we will be holding a CHARITY AUCTION/FUN DAY.

When this happened Victim Support were the only ones to give us any guidance and support.

We hope to see you all at our fundraising day on 20th April but for those of you who can't make it or have asked how to donate money we have set up this page.

Any donation large or small will make a big difference & we thank you in advance for anything you can give.

Please help us in remembering Julie how she was before they ruined her life & changed her from the loving mother of 2 young children to a scared shell of a person we all loved.

Thank you on behalf of our whole family xxxxx
