We raise funds for vital medical research to ensure the health of women and babies

Story

I am taking part of Cycle Burma in November and will be raising money for Robert Winston’s charity, The Genesis Research Trust, which raises money to fund research into mother and baby health. Over the last 8 years they have raised many millions of pounds. Currently, the aim is to discover why women miscarry, how to stop premature births and to fund research into genetic illnesses.

I will be cycling 476KM through all sorts of terrain with a group of ladies, so it will be fun. I cycled Jordan in 2009 raising money for the same charity and there were 100 ladies all taking part. I cycled along with Fern Britton who is the patron of the Genesis Research Trust. Truly the best experience of my life!! The rides they do are all over the world and we travel like back packers, staying in some wonderfully authentic, rural places and meeting locals.
