Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm doing the Vhi Mini- Marathon to support Féileacáin, in loving memory of our baby cousin Conor.

Féileacáin is a non-profit organisation set up to support anyone affected by bereavement during or after pregnancy. They provide counselling services to families suffering bereavement.
Among other things, I think one of the most invaluable pieces of work done by Féileacáin are their memory boxes that they supply to maternity hospitals. Memory boxes contain handknitted clothes and a blanket, hand-printing materials, a camera and among other things, matching teddies - one which remains with the child and one with the parents forever. As anyone can imagine at a time of such sadness these keepsakes are the last things on anyone's mind to have themselves, yet they're the first things that comfort parents in sadness.
Like many families we didn't come across the hard work done by Féileacáin until our baby cousin Conor Dunne passed away peacefully with his Mammy Ailish and Daddy TJ. Conor was a little angel that left the world on the 20th of March last year. The memories we have of Conor due to the work of Féileacáin are invaluable to his parents and our whole family.
Any donations to help Féileacáin continue this precious work would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much, Rach Xx
